Sunny Arts is a nationally acclaimed arts organisation that produces powerful socially conscious drama, film, video and dynamic interactive events.
Drama

Good drama engages the senses and emotions and has the power to move people. It helps people see things in new ways, raises awareness and gets people thinking on a deep level that can lead to personal change.
Sunny Arts creates meaningful quality live and recorded drama, documentary and training presentations that raise consciousness, highlight social concerns, illustrate health and social policy, discrimination or human rights abuses. Powerful interactive sessions allow audiences to enter the world of the characters and the issues.

Video and film
Sunny Arts helps organisations and companies promote their services and raise awareness through video's and DVD's. We produce impactful drama, documentary, training, promotion and corporate video. Digital technology means DVD's are a cost effective way to get a message across or promote a cause.

Creative and Interactive Training
We believe there is nothing more powerful and effective than the use of creative techniques and drama in training. These dynamic techniques are a powerful way to train and empower people and to disseminate ideas and good practice. 'The evaluations are superb' Anne Barrett, Dignity Lead, The Department of Health.

A brilliant, moving new play and interactive discussion about mental health and mental health services by Duncan Sibbald and Sunny Arts
One in four of us will experience mental health problems at some time in our life, yet there is still so little public awareness and understanding of mental health issues; of those who suffer, of those who care for those who suffer and of the services that are supposed to help. Discrimination, fear and ignorance still surrounds mental health and the number of cases of Hate Crime are on the increase. This powerful new drama raises public awareness and understanding of mental health issues. Written by a family member of someone with a long history of mental health problems it deeply engages the audience with humour, pathos and brings real insight into the truth of mental health and the reality of how society deals with it.
'Keep Taking The Tablets' is for all organisations and for public presentations. It involves the performance of the drama plus a meaningful interactive discusion about mental health that explores what works, what doesn't work and what is still needed. If you could host a performance of Keep Taking The Tablets please get in touch, as many people as possible should see it.
Someone To Watch Over Me is a powerful drama and training event about elder abuse: How it happens and why others allow it to continue. Here's some feedback from the first performance: "Very powerful", "Thought Provoking", "Emotive and strong", "Very moving" "What an eye opener", "Best interactive session I have known" "A very powerful tool".
